About the Artist

Born and raised in West Michigan and now based in Salt Lake City, Simon Berghoef is a photographer specializing in board sports, outdoor lifestyle, and adventure storytelling. His work is rooted in a lifelong passion for the outdoors and a dedication to capturing authentic moments in wild places.

Working with both digital and film photography, Simon creates images that blend action, atmosphere, and human connection. Whether documenting athletes in motion, exploring remote landscapes, or capturing everyday adventures, his goal is to tell honest stories that inspire people to get outside.

Simon earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Photography and brings a thoughtful, creative approach to every project, combining technical expertise with a deep appreciation for the environments and communities he photographs.
